How we started
A few years ago, in the bustling city of Delhi, there lived a family of three: Lt Shri Anil Ahuja, his wife Ritu, and son Aman. Ritu was passionate about nutrition, while Aman, a college student, was tech-savvy. Their distinct talents were the ideal ingredients for a shared dream: to launch their own business catering to the growing demand for healthy and delicious Indian food.
The idea sparked during one of their family dinners. While enjoying mom’s homemade drool over Dal Makhani, Dad suggested, “Why not share this goodness with the world?” Aman, always supportive of his parents’ talents, added, “We could start a cloud kitchen! He can handle the online part of the business.” The family decided then and there to turn their dream into reality.

They named their venture “Healthy Chulha” and started from scratch. They transformed a portion of their home into a professional kitchen. Aman created a menu that combined classic Indian recipes with a healthy touch, utilizing locally available organic products. Ritu’s nutritional expertise guaranteed that each dish was not only tasty, but also balanced and healthful. Aman created a user-friendly website, allowing users to easily order their favorite dishes.
The family encountered numerous challenges. The early days were difficult, with hard hours at labour and slow business growth. They had to learn how to manage supply chains, and respond to client comments. Nonetheless, they persevered with unyielding determination and optimism.

Word of mouth spread quickly as customers fell in love with Healthy Chulha’s unique offerings. The ‘Healthy Food’ and ‘Paranthas’ became instant hits. Aman’s internet marketing campaigns drew a younger, health-conscious clientele, whilst Ritu’s cooking drew people who preferred home-style Indian cuisine. The nutritional advice, which they provided, became popular, establishing a loyal community that valued their health as much as their tastes.
Their business expanded in tandem with their growing reputation. They teamed with food delivery providers like Zomato and Swiggy to reach a larger audience, and Healthy Chulha quickly became synonymous with healthy Indian cuisine. They were no longer just a cloud kitchen; they had evolved into a movement dedicated to promoting health through mouthwatering dishes.
A few years down the line, Healthy Chulha has expanded. They opened multiple cloud kitchen locations across the city to keep up with the demand. They have began offering curated meal subscription plans, catering services, and even a separate line of pure vegetarian outlets. The family firm, which began in their humble kitchen, has grown into an incredible success story.
Anil, Ritu, and Aman’s journey was a testament to the power of dreams, the strength of family, and the magic of Indian cuisine. They had not only established a profitable business, but also given joy and health to their society.
